The Reading of Milton's Paradise Lost
Saturday, March 30, 2024, 8:00 PM
Dig out your biggest coffee mug and join us for an all-night reading of Paradise Lost. On March 30, beginning at 8 p.m., we will read John Milton’s epic poem Paradise Lost through the night and finish on Easter morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. This epic poem—inarguably the greatest in English—about the Fall of humankind ends with Adam and Eve departing the Garden of Eden. This is the first great foundation of our faith. The second great foundation is celebrated on Easter Day—the Resurrection of Christ. What better way to prepare yourself for this Holy Day?
