Advent Lessons and Carols
Sunday, December 10, 2023, 5:00 PM
As part of the quiet reflection and joyful expectation that our yearly observance of Advent brings, this candlelit service of scripture, hymns, and anthems moves us from the Creation story, to prophecy, to the coming of the Kingdom of God. The Handbell Choir begins at 4:45 p.m., carols and hymns are sung by the Senior, Youth, St. Cecilia, and St. David Choirs, congregational hymns feature prominently throughout the liturgy, and a carillon concert follows. A freewill offering will be collected to benefit our non-profit community partners. Links to the service are below.
