144th ECW Annual Meeting & Retreat | St. Paul's Cleveland Heights

The E.C.W. Diocese of Ohio invites you to the 144th Annual Meeting & Retreat on May 6 & 7, 2022. We will enjoy an overnight stay at Bellwether Farm. Reception begins at 4 p.m. EDT on Friday.

We're delighted to welcome back our first in-person retreat in two years at Bellwether Farm. The Rev. Canon Whitney Rice, Canon for Evangelism & Discipleship Development, Diocese of Missouri, will lead us through four sessions that reconnect us to the Soul — Care of Self, Relationship — Care of One Another, Gathering — Care of Community, Cosmos — Care of Creation.

The first session will take place on Friday evening after dinner, with the remaining sessions being held on Saturday. While it is highly encouraged that you attend all four sessions, it is possible to attend just the sessions on Saturday.

Reception re-opens on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. A brief business meeting begins at 9:15 a.m., and the day concludes with a worship service.

Overnight stays include Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, and lunch. Saturday attendees will receive lunch.

Upon entering the church on Sunday morning, you will be greeted by parishioners who can direct you to worship services, Sunday school classes, childcare, or other areas.

The principal Sunday worship service is the Holy Eucharist.

The Book of Common Prayer guides our liturgical services. Our varied service schedule provides opportunities to worship in diverse ways, from traditional to more contemporary. There is worship bulletin that will assist you through the service.

Childcare is offered on Sunday mornings for children ages infant through Pre-K from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Our paid staff is trained in health and safety, and silent pagers are made available to parents of infants and toddlers. Please ask a greeter or usher for directions to the childcare rooms.

Sunday morning Christian Formation classes for children and youth meet most Sundays from 10 to 11 a.m. from September through May.
