At their best, movies can move, inspire and teach us like no other art form. This year, St. Paul’s popular movie series Spirituality on the Silver Screen expands to eight Wednesdays in Epiphany! St. Paul’s parishioners will host screenings of movies that have particular spiritual significance to them, and lead short discussions afterwards.

All “reel spirituality” screenings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Brooks Room. Free admission and free popcorn, courtesy of the Adult Forum Committee.

Come join us for a movie and discussion!

February 20: The Florida Project (2017) — This movie may seem to be about how three kids are spending a carefree summer in a seedy Florida motel just down the road from Disney World. In reality, it’s an authentic, intelligent, un-patronizing, empathetic film about the “hidden homeless,” many of whom are innocent children and their increasingly desperate single mother living on the knife-edge of poverty. Hosted by Eileen Beal.

February 27: Coco (2017) — Hosted by Jessie Dodson.
