At their best, movies can move, inspire and teach us like no other art form. This year, St. Paul’s popular movie series Spirituality on the Silver Screen expands to eight Wednesdays in Epiphany! St. Paul’s parishioners will host screenings of movies that have particular spiritual significance to them, and lead short discussions afterwards.

All “reel spirituality” screenings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Brooks Room. Free admission and free popcorn, courtesy of the Adult Forum Committee.

Come join us for a movie and discussion!

February 13: The Apostle (1997) —  With great empathy and total respect, writer and director Robert Duvall has created a highly engaging drama about the fall and redemption of a Pentecostal preacher from Texas. Unlike other screen caricatures of revival evangelists, The Apostle captures the man in full with both his flaws and his finer points. Hosted by Liz Richmond.

February 20: The Florida Project (2017) — Hosted by Eileen Beal.
February 27: Coco (2017) — Hosted by Jessie Dodson.
