Spirituality on the Silver Screen: Agora

St. Paul’s popular movie series Spirituality on the Silver Screen returns on seven Wednesdays in Epiphany. Parishioners host screenings of movies that have particular spiritual significance to them, and lead short discussions afterwards. All “reel spirituality” screenings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Brooks Room. Free admission and free popcorn, courtesy of the Adult Formation Committee. Come enjoy a movie screening with friends on Wednesdays in January & February!

January 8: Agora (2009) — A historical drama set in Roman Egypt, concerning a slave who turns to the rising tide of Christianity in the hope of pursuing freedom while falling in love with his mistress, the philosophy and mathematics professor Hypatia of Alexandria.
