Parable Puzzles: A Lenten Series for Children & Youth

Event details

  • Wednesday | February 17, 2016 to Wednesday | March 16, 2016
  • 7:00 pm

Children and youth are invited to join Meg von der Heydt and Julie Micheletti for a Lenten series on the Parables. Each week we will explore one of Jesus’ core parables.

The stories are meant to help us ask questions and they’re wonderfully rich and open-ended.  What exactly is the Kingdom of God and how do we experience it?

This program is designed for children and youth of all ages and will include opportunities to reflect and respond to the parables through a wide variety of playful and creative work. It will run concurrently with the adult Lenten programming: Growing a Rule of Life small groups and clergy-led Lectionary Bible Study on Wednesdays in Lent.

We hope you’ll join us!

February 17 – Parable of the Good Samaritan
February 24 – Parable of the Sower
March 2 – Parable of the Leaven
March 9 – Parable of the Great Pearl
March 16 – Parable of the Good Shepherd
