- St. Paul's Dining Room
Dr. Joan Nuth, Associate Professor of Theology Emerita at John Carroll University and the Director of the Ignatian Spirituality Institute, will kick off this year’s Adult Formation focus on spirituality at St. Paul’s by asking the basic question “What is spirituality?” She will first explore what we mean by the human spirit, made in God’s image, and then discuss how our interaction with the Spirit of God is able to enhance and bring to full fruition our human selves. While certainly all humans are spiritual beings, the focus of this talk will concentrate on how the spiritual life has been understood in the Christian tradition in particular, using the spiritual tradition of St. Ignatius Loyola as an example.
Alla re welcome in the Dining Room at 10 a.m.
