Episcopal Church 101: Forming an Episcopal Identity

St. Paul’s five-week Episcopal Church 101 Adult Forum series continues! Some of us were born into the Episcopal Church; some of us are brand-new here, but all of us have something to learn as we deepen the understanding of our tradition. We will have an opportunity for you to deepen your commitment to the Church by being received or confirmed when Bishop Mark Hollingsworth visits on May 5, 2019.
This forum series is intended as preparation for being received or confirmed, but all are invited to attend. Contact any of the clergy with questions. You may come to any of the sessions whether or not you have attended previous ones. We hope to see you there!

March 24 & 31: Instructed Eucharist
Led by the Rev. Jessie Dodson
Many of us have attended worship services our entire lives; yet, many of us don’t know the significance and reasons behind the words, postures, and service format we use in our worship. Join us for a two-part Forum session to explore the richness of our liturgy in more detail. On March 24, we’ll focus on the first part of the service – the “Liturgy of the Word”. On March 31, we’ll cover the second part of the service – the “Liturgy of the Table,” or Holy Communion.

April 7: A Tour of the Book of Common Prayer
Led by the Rev. Jeanne Leinbach
