- St. Paul's Nave
Beginning near sunset, this third of the Great Three Days, this service begins by kindling a new fire outside, lighting the paschal candle as a sign of Christ’s resurrection light.
After sharing the light with candles, the service continues by keeping vigil while hearing in Scripture the story of God’s work of salvation throughout history.
Through Holy Baptism all present join with the newly baptized in renewing our own commitment to the resurrected life of Christ and then together celebrate the Holy Eucharist.
This dramatic service is approximately an hour and forty-five minutes in duration. It is the first service of Easter. A joyous dessert reception will follow.
Come celebrate the resurrection with us!
