Good Friday: Ecumenical Meditations – Seven Last Words

Event details

  • Friday | April 10, 2020
  • 12:00 pm
  • At Home!

Our traditional Good Friday Ecumenical Service spans the three hours Jesus hanged on the cross and includes psalms, prayers, time for silence and more.

We regret that we cannot gather together for the three-hour service this year. However, seven area preachers have recorded meditations on the traditional last words of Jesus on the cross. Their videos will be put together with organ and violin music into a shorter service that can be viewed on Youtube anytime on Good Friday. Please join us any time after noon on Good Friday HERE.

Meditations will be offered by:
Rev. Dr. Brian Wilbert, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris, First Baptist Church,
Rev. Shelley Nelson-Bridger, United Protestant Campus Ministries
Rev. Dr. Deborah Lindsay, Plymouth Church UCC
Rev. Peter Faass, Christ Episcopal Church
Rev. Jessica MacMillan, Fairmount Presbyterian Church
Rev. Gregory Kendrick, Jr., Church of the Saviour, United Methodist
