Event details

  • Sunday | October 2, 2016 to Sunday | October 16, 2016
  • 10:00 am
  • St. Paul's Dining Room

The September 11 forum with EDWINS founder Brandon Chrostowski.

EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute is a proven successful mix of award-winning French cuisine, and top-tier table service combined with a unique and revolutionary social cause. EDWINS is the only white tablecloth restaurant in the country whose staff consists entirely of formerly incarcerated men and women in both the kitchen and the front of house. Envisioned and established by Brandon Chrostowski in 2007, the organization’s mission is to give formerly incarcerated individuals a foundation in the hospitality industry while providing a support network necessary for successful re-entry.

On September 11, Brandon spoke to a standing room only Tucker Hall about his vision in founding this one-of-a-kind program located in the Shaker Square district of Cleveland.

As a follow up, St. Paul’s is pleased to present the EDWINS Town Hall Series on three Sundays in October. EDWINS students or their family members will speak on the following topics. Please join us and bring a friend to these important Adult Forum sessions.

Sunday, October 2 : Inside Prison
What it means to be incarcerated and to have someone close to you incarcerated.

Sunday, October 9 : Reentry
The challenges of employment and housing after being released from prison.

Sunday, October 16 : Hope
A call to action to help create opportunities for those who have been incarcerated.
