The month-long Ars organi Fall Festival celebrating the Holtkamp and Hradetzky organs at St. Paul’s, Cleveland Heights, wraps up with three recitals and a lecture over the weekend of October 18-20.
On Sunday, October 20, at 4 p.m., St. Paul’s organist Karel Paukert will present “Petr Eben: The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart (after Jan Amos Komensky-Comenius.” Case Professor of Humanities John Orlock will narrate. Paukert will give a related talk entitled “Eben & Comenius: Two Czech Visionaries” on Saturday, October 19, at 11 a.m. in the Holtkamp organ loft.
