Conductor Richard Webster (Trinity Church, Boston) will light up musical scenery with his imaginative mix of hymn settings, biblical and secular readings with “Blow Ye the Trumpet in Zion,” A Festival of Hymns for the Church Year – September 29, 7 p.m. This will be a stellar event that all who love hymn singing will want to attend. The organist for the service will be Todd Wilson (Trinity Cathedral, Cleveland). Wilson, plus brass quintet and timpani will virtually raise the roof of our church! Especially for this program, you want to bring your families and friends to experience hymn singing in a very exciting fashion.
This two week series of concerts and talks has been arranged by St. Paul’s organist and choirmaster Karel Paukert as a tribute to St. Paul’s fine instruments.
