“All God’s Children” – Worship for All Ages & Abilities

Event details

  • Sunday | November 19, 2017
  • 5:00 pm
  • St. Paul's Tucker Hall

Come join us Sunday, November 19, at 5 p.m. in Tucker Hall, as we share the message of God’s love and joy for All God’s Children. This open-hearted service is designed to appeal to families with children of any age, and is especially appropriate for people with special needs. In this relaxed, inclusive service, there is no need to be still or quiet. Our worship together will be a lively combination of music, prayer, Bible stories, movement, and Communion. This innovative approach to worship is designed to provide a welcoming space for those for whom conventional worship may be difficult.  The Rev. Jeanne Leinbach will preside.

Throughout the service we will provide visual, auditory, and verbal cues, and there will be plenty of room for movement and lots of singing. We believe worship should be available and welcoming to all. Being fully inclusive means making space for exceptional people, and anyone who has a hard time sitting still in church, to enjoy worship in their own way.
